Post-Procedure Care

After a Filling
Numbness wears off in 2-3 hours. Avoid hot food/drinks until then. Mild sensitivity is normal for a few days.
After Root Canal
Take prescribed painkillers as directed. Avoid chewing on that side for 24 hours. Schedule your crown appointment within 2 weeks.
After Teeth Whitening
Avoid coffee, tea, wine, and colored foods for 48 hours. Sensitivity is normal and fades within a day.
After Extraction
Bite on gauze for 30 minutes. No spitting or straws for 24 hours. Ice pack on cheek if swelling occurs.
